Methods.

Although Adam Glowinski (ADAM GŁOWIŃSKI) is accused of various types of fraud, the methods described in these accusations are remarkably consistent, and are almost exclusively confined to the business of selling used cars. He is adept at convincing people to send him money from far away, with the promise of delivering classic or performance cars, and adept at convincing investors to invest in his businesses. He is accused of being a pathological liar who creates elaborate narratives to justify delays, failures to pay bills, or failures to deliver vehicles.

He is a notorious fan of the “high life,” and spends lavishly on designer clothes, expensive restaurants, and supporting his wife, Laura Glowinski, in a similar manner. Art classes, horseback riding lessons, expensive sunglasses and shoes, and extensive travel. His lifestyle at any given moment appears to reflect the success or failure of his various endeavors. He does not own a home, and typically does not own vehicles in his name, to prevent assets of this type of being seized by creditors.

In 2019, after admitting to the theft of more than 285.000€ in Spain, Adam left the country for Poland, defaulting on his rented home and failing to pay more than 10.000€ in back rent and penalties. He is also being sought by the Spanish tax authorizes for back taxes, by the Polish justice system for a separate civil judgement in the amount of 280.000€ and by various individuals who claim they have been defrauded.

After a brief hiatus he began operating anew as Polclassics, using a front man named “Marcin Lamowski” and working out of a warehouse on ul Konwaliowa in Warsaw, Poland. With a year, however, victimized customers we waging an internet and social media campaign against Polclassics, forcing Adam to change the name regularly in an effort to avoid scrutiny. The current his current social media campaign seems to be based on “Gclassforsale.net,” and using various different Instagram names, including “w461_w463sale” and others. Adam is accused of communicating with potential buyers using false names, including Marcin Lamowski. (Numerous voice and video messages exist in which the voice of Adam Glowinski purports to be “Marcin Lamowski” and describes cars for sale.)

Adam Glowinski’s alleged specific methods fall into the following categories:

“Delivery Problems”

Most recently, Adam Glowinski, operating currently as “Gclassforsale.net", is accused of repeatedly offering “door to door” delivery service of vehicles to customers in other parts of the world and failing to provide such delivery. In many cases, the customers claim they are told that “everything is being handled,” and the vehicle will be delivered to their home as agreed, only to find (often months later) that the vehicle is stuck in a port, under customs inspection and hold, with no customs broker working on clearing the vehicle. At least four North American buyers of Mercedes-Benz G-wagens have claimed that this has caused them to take emergency actions to rescue their vehicles from customs, usually at substantial cost. In one case, a Canadian buyer is facing more than $27,000 in customs and storage fees to ultimately recover his vehicle, which need to be paid before he can collect his $25,000 G-wagen. Despite repeated assurances from Adam Glowinski that he would pay for these costs, no money has been paid.

Selling Vehicles He Doesn’t Own Or Which Are Misrepresented

In many cases, Adam Glowinski (ADAM GŁOWIŃSKI) is accused of selling vehicles he does not own or which are misrepresented. Vehicles are advertised as “restored” or “low mileage” or “perfect,” when in reality the vehicles in question are in typical used condition at best, with body filler covering rust, inexpensive paint jobs, or major mechanical needs. In some cases, the vehicles he advertised for sale are not his to sell, and may not even be in his possession. If he is involved in repairs or “restorations,” the work done to the vehicles is typically the fastest and least expensive work possible to provide the desired appearance of quality, even if in reality the quality doesn’t exist. At least five different individuals in Spain have accused Adam Glowinski (ADAM GŁOWIŃSKI) of selling them vehicles which did not exist at all, totalling more than 200.000€, and to date, neither the “vehicles” nor the money has ever surfaced. Adam Glowinski is currently being sought by authorities in Spain in relation to these charges.

Additionally, is it said that Adam Glowinski operates on the “ponzi scheme” principle, spending deposits for vehicles, and then relying on future sales to pay for past debts.

False Invoicing And Mail Fraud

Adam Glowinski has been repeatedly accused of mail fraud and forgery. This is usually in the form of creating falsified invoices for work or services, with listed bank account numbers which are not as described. People who pay these invoices, thinking they are paying for a related product or service, find later than the account they paid into was actually the personal account of Adam Glowinski (ADAM GŁOWIŃSKI) or his wife, Laura Glowinski, and that the product or service they thought they were paying for was never purchased. He has been repeatedly accused of sending falsified or cancelled bank transfer receipts, in an effort to convince individuals or companies that he has paid them, when in fact no money ever arrives. Many false documents - invoices and bank transfer receipts - have surfaced in support of these allegations.

Admissions Of Guilt

Often, if an accuser pursues Adam Glowinski (ADAM GŁOWIŃSKI) hard enough in relation to a suspected crime or swindle, Adam will simply admit to the accuser that he did it and promise to pay the money back. These admissions, while admirable in a way, are typically justified by elaborate stories of hardship or medical illness which have been repeatedly proven false. Despite promises to repay his debts, repayments are rare and never amount to more than a tiny fraction of the money swindled. In Spain, for example, Adam Glowinski signed a confession of guilt, admitting to the “unilateral theft of 284,600€” from a business associate, and the money was stolen using all the methods listed here. To date, despite repeated assurances to repay the debt, less than 20.000€ has been recovered and the victimized party continues to work with law enforcement to bring Adam Glowinski to justice.

Multiple Bank Accounts

Adam Glowinski administers multiple bank accounts in various countries, and will request payments into them, or pay from them, or issue falsified transfer receipts from them, as necessary. He is known to have operated using bank accounts in Poland, Germany, and London. He is also known to have used two different PayPal accounts linked to different email addresses, although in all cases, these accounts are changed frequently, opened and closed as necessary.
